Freeware for personal use
We offer freeware and shareware programs related to data backup. The software offered here is freeware for personal use, i.e. it can be used by private persons free of charge. For professional or commercial use, you need to buy a license.
Freeware for personal use demands fairness from the customer: If you want to use my programs commercially or professionally (in companies, associations or institutions) and/or obtain access to additional features, you have to register the software. This means that you buy the professional version in our shop or from one of the traders authorized by IMU and you will obtain the right to use our software for business purposes.
Unless otherwise noted, our software works on the operating systems Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP and Windows Server
2016, 2012(R2), SBS 2011, 2008(R2) and 2003. Please read the notes on the download page!

I'm experiencing problems with an application, what should I do?
First, read the online help and the user manual. If no help is available, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with an exact (!!) description of the error. This includes error number, error text, maybe a screenshot, a description how the error occurred (to help us understand what happened) as well as details about your computer configuration (operating system, service packs, particularities, memory, processor etc.). The more precise you are, the quicker we can offer a solution.
Please include the following data with your support inquiry:
- Program version
- Operating system/service packs
- detailed error description
- Information on how the error can be reproduces
- maybe a screenshot
Please zip all email attachments (images, logfiles), because else they might be classified as spam by my email ticketing system, which will delay the support. Please also understand that our reply to your email can be delayed over weekends.
