Z-DBackup Server Backup
Z-DBackup lets you back up your Windows Server 2012 quickly and easily. In combination with Z-DATdump, it allows you to copy your backups to a tape medium. Because the backup software Z-DBackup offers flexible settings, it is ideal for the professional server backup. You just have to create a backup set once, then you can run your backups automatically with Z-Cron or Windows Task Scheduler.
Scheduling for Server Backup
Z-Cron allows you to create complex schedules for backups and other recurring asks. The automation of the Server 2012 backup saves you a lot of time. Z-DBackup also offers a variety of actions that it can automatically perform, to stop or start programs, system services, databases etc. before or after the server backup.

Backup Open, Locked and Currently Used Files
In the daily use of databases and similar applications, it is in some cases necessary to back up files that are currently opened for exclusive writing access by other applications during operation. For this purpose, we offer Z-VSScopy: this add-on modules gives Z-DBackup the power to access and back up these data.
File Filters (Blacklist/Whitelist)
Another advantage of Z-DBackup is its blacklist for unimportant server files. Usually, not all files must be included in a backup. Z-DBackup allows the creation of filter rules to exclude certain filetypes or directories from the backup, which saves backup time and space.
Z-DBackup deliberately omits features for system mirroring. Practice has shown that a system re-installation is usually less of a hassle than an emergency recovery of a system that has grown large and slow.
Freeware Version
Z-DBackup can manage up to 99 backup sets of virtually any size in the Professional Version, i.e. millions of files and archives of 4 terabytes size! Use the 256-bit AES encryption of the Professional Version to protect your confidetial data!

Server Backup
Z-DBackup backs up your data sets quickly and easily to any target drive. Its networking features make it the ideal backup software for Windows Server 2000/2003/2008/2010/2011 and 2012 backups.
Extended file information and attributes are optionally included in 1:1 file copy backups. The NTFS access permissions are also copied to the backup medium (e.g. an NTFS formatted external hard drive or RDX drive) and can be restored. Path lengths, file and directory lengths of more than 260 characters are supported.
In addition to full, incremental and differential backups, Z-DBackup also supports the synchronisation or mirroring of drives and directory structures. The program can create an exact copy of the data from the source directories in the target directories and can be used for synchronisation, refreshing, replication and mirroring of data between different computers, servers and notebooks as well as HD, NAS, USB, REV, RDX, CD, DVD, Blu-Ray and tape mediums.
Z-DBackup supports AES encryption in two different levels of security: 128- and 256-bit AES encryption and, in addition, PKZIP 2.04 standard encryption. The password encryption feature is a good way to protect confidential documents from anauthorised access.
